Would you like to be part of the team managing Environment Canterbury’s Regional Parks?

Environment Canterbury manages Regional Parks on the Waimakariri River, at Lake Tekapo and from July this year will be developing a park on the Ashley/Rakahuri River.  We are looking for an energetic and enthusiastic person to join our team.

You will work mainly in the Waimakariri and Ashley/Rakahuri Regional Parks including McLeans Island just west of Christchurch.  You will have enthusiasm for outdoor recreation, conservation and providing excellent customer service.  You will need the ability to relate to a wide range of people and have the flexibility to work rostered weekends.  Previous experience working as a ranger is desirable.
