Strong leadership and relationship building skills are key to this role.
Using
your proven knowledge of animal control legislation and enforcement,
you'll lead our animal education and control team in all day to day
operational aspects, as well as play a key role in the development of
public education initiatives that improve awareness and reduce the
potential for adverse situations.
With our organisation going
through a period of significant change and realigning our key focus to
customer service and delivery, your ability to influence and build a
new culture and expectations amongst your team to deliver what is
required will be essential.
You'll have 10 years or more
enforcement/regulatory experience gained within a local government
environment, significant people and financial management experience and
exposure to public relations/media. In addition, your exceptional
communication skills will allow you to interact and quickly build
relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
