This position is responsible for management of Council Sportsgrounds and provides an interface between Council and users of Council sports and recreation facilities. Responsibilities include co-ordinating and promoting efficient and effective use, and maintaining long-term management of these assets.
Preferred requirements are:
â–ª Tertiary qualification in Sports/Recreation/Sports promotion/Sports Management.
â–ª Significant management experience.
â–ª Excellent communication skills, ability to facilitate meetings, relate easily to a wide range of people.
â–ª Outgoing and highly motivated team player with leadership ability.
â–ª Excellent organisational skills, and the ability to manage and monitor budgets and produce effective reports.
