The Tauranga City Libraries are looking for an energetic, enthusiastic and reliable student to assist with shelf tidying, sorting and shelving of library items at the Papamoa Branch.
We have two positions available:
Position One 8 hours per week worked Monday and Tuesday (4.00pm – 6.00pm) and Sunday (10.00am – 2.00pm).
Position Two 8 hours per week worked Wednesday and Friday (4.00pm – 6.00pm) and Saturday (10.00am – 2.00pm).
Applicants will have:
Accurate numerical skills
Be able to apply the Dewey System
Demonstrate a strong customer focus
Good general knowledge
Minimum qualification is NCEA Level 1 or equivalent
Library experience, computer literacy and cash handling skills will also be an advantage.
